These terms govern your use of this website and the mobile unlocking service we provide. Please read them before placing an order — by placing an order, you agree to them.
This website is operated by [Legal entity name] ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in [country] under company number [number], with its registered office at [full registered address]. You can reach us using the details in section 14.
We operate more than one unlocking website under different brand names. These are related businesses under common ownership, operated transparently. Each has its own terms; the terms that apply to your order are the ones on the website where you placed it.
We provide a remote mobile network unlocking service. Using the IMEI number of your device, we process an unlock that removes the carrier (network) lock, allowing the device to accept SIM cards or eSIMs from other networks.
Our service is an intangible service that is delivered digitally. Your device never leaves your possession — nothing is posted to us, and nothing is installed on your device by us.
By placing an order you confirm that:
If the information you give us is incorrect — for example, the wrong network or model — we may be unable to complete the unlock, and, as explained in section 8, a payment for an incorrectly submitted order may not be recoverable, because our supplier costs are incurred on submission.
Many customers — especially those who received a device as a gift — don't know exactly which model they have, which country it's from, or which network it's locked to. Ordering an unlock based on a guess can mean paying for the wrong service.
To help you order with confidence, we offer an optional IMEI check. It is a separate, paid product that gives you a report showing, where available, the device model, country, network it is locked to, and its blacklist/lost-or-stolen status.
You are never required to buy the check to place an unlock order. It exists purely to help you order correctly.
What you pay for is the report you receive — the information about your device. Because the report is delivered to you as soon as it's produced, the check fee is not refundable once the report has been provided, including where the result is one you didn't hope for (for example, that the device is blacklisted and cannot be unlocked).
The price for each unlock depends on the device's network and model, and is shown to you before you pay. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that unlock. We do not add hidden charges after you have ordered.
When you place an order, we authorise the amount on your card — this places a temporary hold but does not take the money. We only capture (actually charge) the payment when your unlock is confirmed as complete. If we cannot complete the unlock, the authorisation is released and you are not charged (subject to section 8 regarding incorrectly submitted orders).
Where a device turns out to require a different or premium service than first ordered, we will tell you the price and ask for your agreement before charging anything further. You are free to decline.
Prices may be shown in your local currency. Where they are, the charge is taken in the currency displayed to you at checkout.
Our service is a digital service that begins as soon as we submit your unlock request. At checkout, we ask you to give two separate confirmations:
We ask for the second confirmation separately because, under consumer law covering digital services, your right to a "cooling-off" cancellation can be lost once you have given informed consent to begin and the service has been performed. We want that consent to be clear and knowingly given.
We show an estimated turnaround time for each network before you order. These are estimates, not guarantees — actual times depend on the network and the manufacturer's systems, which are outside our control.
When your unlock is complete, we send a completion email to the address you provided. For an unlock delivered by code, this email contains your unlock code and instructions. This completion email is your confirmation that the service has been delivered.
It is your responsibility to give us a correct, working email address and to follow the instructions we provide. Where an unlock requires a code to be entered on the device, the unlock is complete when we deliver a working code; entering it correctly is the final step you carry out.
Our full policy is set out on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page. In summary:
None of the above affects any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
If something goes wrong with your order, please contact us first — we resolve the great majority of issues quickly, and we have real people available by live chat, WhatsApp and phone.
Because our service is intangible and delivered digitally, we keep a clear record of each order — including your order confirmation, the information you submitted, your consent to begin, and the completion email — as evidence that the service was requested and delivered. Where a chargeback is raised on an order we have completed and delivered, we may present this evidence to the card issuer.
Device manufacturer names, network names, and their logos are the trademarks of their respective owners. We refer to them only to describe which devices and networks our service supports. Their use does not imply any endorsement of, or affiliation with, us.
Our own website content, design, and text are our property or used under licence, and may not be copied without permission.
We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We handle your personal information — including your email address and the IMEI you submit — in line with our Privacy Policy. An IMEI linked to your contact details is personal data, and we protect it accordingly. We use it only to provide the service and do not sell it.
These terms are governed by the laws of [>>>EDIT: jurisdiction — confirm with solicitor<<<]. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
